If you have an upcoming assessment at one of our facilities, here are the things you should know:

All of NYRC’s facilities:
  • Are wheelchair accessible, including wheelchair accessible washrooms, entrances, and parking;
  • Have elevator access, AED machines, and First Aid Kits with certified staff able to administer first aid and CPR in the event of an emergency; and
  • Have convenient parking options and are located near a variety of public transit options.

Our goal is to make the assessment process as easy and pleasant an experience for you as possible. Over our 30-year history, CARF accreditation, and feedback from people like you we have made our facilities and processes the best in the business.

COVID-19 Safety

  • NYRC provides social-distancing-friendly waiting rooms, hand sanitizing stations throughout our facilities, and designated hand washing stations.
  • NYRC provides gloves, masks and other applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) to you upon arrival if needed

IME Accomodation Services

  • Automated appointment reminders
  • Transportation coordination services to and from our assessments

How to prepare for your Medical Assessment

  • We kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the appointed examination time and bring a valid government issued photo ID for proper registration and documentation.
  • All minors must be accompanied by an adult/guardian.
  • NYRC is an independent third party and does not act on behalf of insurers, lawyers, or any other referral sources.
  • All of your information is protected and secure. It will only be shared with the assessor you are seeing and the referral source.

NYRC is a CARF accredited facility in Independent Evaluation Services for Adults and Independent Evaluation Services for Children and Adolescents.
