Join Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association for their first ever Experts Week Lunch 'N' Learn Series, presented by BridgePoint Financial. Daily webinars are hosted by an ACTLA Expert Partner with topics ranging from Business Valuations to Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries, this webinar series promises something for everyone.

As part of Experts Week, NYRC presents Dr. Waqar Waheed who will be exploring Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries (mTBI). Dr. Waheed is a clinical associate professor in the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. He has trained in general psychiatry (Vanderbilt University), child and adolescent psychiatry (Johns Hopkins Hospital), forensic psychiatry (New York Medical College) and addiction medicine (through New York University and the American Society of Addiction Medicine).

We had a spectacular turnout for our first MedMinds session of 2024 in partnership with ACTLA, featuring Physiatrist and one of NYRC’s most experienced assessors, Dr. Zeeshan Waseem. 

During this engaging virtual event, Dr. Waseem took us through the intricacies of working with patients dealing with complex regional pain syndrome and chronic pain syndrome as well as strategies to treat such chronic conditions.
